Entry control
Entry control systems are used to deal with visitors to your home. There are two types of system available; audio and video. Callers use a panel sited conveniently at the entrance and are able to speak to you to gain access if appropriate.

There are many kinds of entry control products on the market, with different features and finishes which allow you to choose the product most suited to your decor.

Access control
Access control systems allow you to enter and exit your property through controlled access points. The main types of system are detailed below.

Remote operation
A handheld transmitter or proximity fob is used to operate the system.

Automatic operation
The system operates automatically on approach. This is usually only used in one direction so you can leave without having to operate the system.

Keypads
These dispense with the need for transmitter fobs but do require you to exit, or at least lean out of your vehicle. This is the lowest form of security as codes can be shared.
